January Inspiration
The last few weeks have been freezing cold and the fog has been hanging low. I am longing for brighter, warmer days! Soon, the birds will return from the south, nature will awaken and we can finally spend more time outdoors without getting cold feet and hands.
During these frosty days, I have mainly been curled up on a sheepskin in front of the fire, reading many interesting books and listening to engaging podcasts on a variety of topics that have made me think.
January is a month of reflection for me. A month in which I take the time to clarify what I want to focus on in the new year and what I want to let go of. What I definitely wish for is to spend more time in nature and experience it fully. To be in community and connection with people, to be inspired by them and to inspire them. Sharing experiences and insights and giving each other courage and joy along the way is the key to a sustainable future.
With MARAI, we have many beautiful, inspiring things planned for this year. In the past year, we experimented a lot, and now our collection is being joined by some wonderful products created in collaboration with amazing people and companies. We can't wait to share them with you!
Until then, for a cosy winter evening, I recommend watching the film The Biggest Little Farm It vividly shows how a dry piece of land can be transformed into a beautiful, fertile place - by understanding ourselves as part of nature, listening to it, and learning from it.
