How We Produce Our Goat Leather Goods"
Our bags are handcrafted from the first cut to the last seam in a southern German manufactory. Craftsmanship is a tradition there – the family business is now successfully run by the second generation. From the 1960s onwards, more and more manufacturers moved their production abroad. Cheap products flooded the market – local businesses that produced handmade things closed down. Our manufactory swam against the tide and stayed true to both its principle of ‘Handmade in Germany’ and its location.
The outstanding quality of traditional craftsmanship is what won us over. Each product is a unique piece made with expertise and dedication.
How We Produce Our Cowhide Leather Goods
Since 2024, we have been able to produce larger batches in Switzerland to exceptional standards. Our partner is a renowned manufacturer from Oberaargau in the canton of Bern, which was established in 1919 as a traditional saddlery.
Originally focused on military production, the company now operates across diverse sectors including filtration, medicine, equestrian sports, and transport interiors. Under the guidance of the Hirschi family, now in its second generation, the company continues to build on its storied heritage.
The son of the family has trained as a master bag maker and is now establishing an in-house workshop dedicated to fine bag making. This new initiative will also offer apprenticeships, ensuring both exceptional quality and a sustainable future for Swiss craftsmanship. We are proud to support and be a part of this tradition.
How We Produce Our Clothing
Our garments and belts are made in a small family business in Oporto, Portugal. The brother and sister who run the business work with great dedication and experience, supported by two seamstresses and an elderly gentleman who does the cutting. Many things are still made by hand. Each piece is the result of the team's skill and care.
The company may be small, but its portfolio is impressive: from bespoke products for famous singers to commissions from major brands that demand the highest quality, every product is unique - handmade with attention to detail.
Production of our Sheepskin Products
Our pillows are made in Prättigau, high up in the mountains in the canton of Grisons, in Sonia's small workshop. Sonia lives closely connected with nature, goes to the alp with cows and horses in summer and produces fur and leather products in the winter months. She exclusively uses materials whose origin is known to her and which she can take in her own hands with a good conscience.
The outstanding quality of Sonia's handwork is what won us over. Each product is a unique piece made with expertise and dedication.
Our sheepskin collars are sewn in a furrier's workshop in Styria, Austria, with a long tradition of working with sheepskin. Master furrier Anton has been running his workshop for many years, where he and his team repair fur and leather garments, create new favourites from old coats and sew beautiful items for others. For us, for example :)
