Production of our leather goods

Our bags are handcrafted from the first cut to the last seam in a southern German manufactory. Craftsmanship is a tradition there – the family business is now successfully run by the second generation. From the 1960s onwards, more and more manufacturers moved their production abroad. Cheap products flooded the market – local businesses that produced handmade things closed down. Our manufactory swam against the tide and stayed true to both its principle of ‘Handmade in Germany’ and its location.

The outstanding quality of traditional craftsmanship is what won us over. Each product is a unique piece made with expertise and dedication. 

Our scrunchies are sewn in a small workshop in Zurich West that is committed to the social and professional integration of unemployed women, especially mothers with children. There, a craft-savvy team designs, develops, and creates pieces on commission and on their own behalf. This results in carefully crafted products and programme participants who go home at the end of the day with a greater sense of joy and self-confidence.
