Re:Grounded in Indigo - Inspiration for February
Re:Grounded in Indigo characterizes our February edition. A month of arriving, not rushing. A pause that creates space. Indigo is more than a color—it is a feeling. Calm, collected, clear. It carries depth, filters noise, and creates presence without volume. For us, indigo stands for grounded strength, for patience as a form of power, and for decisions that are made with care.
In this state of groundedness, we would like to introduce you to two products that are particularly close to our hearts in February. Pieces that embody this rhythm and are inspired by nature: the blossoming of a flower and the quiet power of the moon. Two motifs that do not drive, but accompany—connected by origin, craftsmanship, and time.
When small steps blossom
Blüemli Moccasins are made for little people who are just beginning to walk their own path. For first steps on wood, stone, and grass. For curious feet that are cautiously exploring the world.
A flower does not bloom on command. It grows when the time is right. This is precisely the feeling conveyed by Blüemli moccasins. They envelop the foot softly and protectively without constricting it, allowing children to move freely, safely, and securely.
Created in collaboration with Appenzeller Gurt, these moccasins combine regional, traceable Swiss goat leather from Regionales Leder with traditional Appenzell ornaments. Each pair tells a story of origin, craftsmanship, and patience. Of hands that work with care and materials that are chosen with respect.
This February, we had the Blüemli moccasins produced again. Not because they are trendy, but because there was a need for them—many sizes were already sold out, and we sensed how much they were needed. Each new pair is an invitation to blossom. Quiet, soft, and inspired by the idea that the first steps in life need space, time, and trust.
In tune with the moon – Moon seat cushion
The moon seat cushions were created from the desire to give everyday life little islands of calm. Moments when we don't have to function, but can simply be. The moon has always accompanied us – silent, reliable, in its own rhythm.
Each of the eight sheepskin seat cushions represents a phase of the moon. For change that does not happen abruptly, but fluidly. For the reminder that everything has its time: growing, being full, letting go, and starting again. These cycles are reflected not only in the shape, but also in the feeling that the cushions convey.
Soft sheepskin meets wool felt made from Swiss sheep's wool – materials that warm, support, and protect. They invite you to take a seat and stay. On a chair, a bench, or outside under the open sky. The cushions do not create a focal point, but rather a quiet edge where thoughts can slow down.
The moon seat cushions represent an attitude that we consciously cultivate: things can be quiet. They can accompany us rather than dominate us. And they can remind us that there is a special power in going at our own pace.
