August Edition: FIELD NOTES, simplicity begins here <3
In July we spoke about Simplicity – about returning to what feels real. August brings this thought to a tangible place: to the farm, into an everyday life that doesn't need a stage. Here, simplicity isn't a principle, but a habit. In the early morning light. In the sound of work that needs to be done. In materials that weren't designed, but grown. Perhaps that is the difference between simplicity as an idea and simplicity as a lived reality: one is imagined, the other is simply lived.
Our companions for August
This month, the materials themselves step forward. The sheepskins speak directly of where they come from – each hide one of a kind, shaped by weather, pasture, and time. Not a product that claims simplicity, but one that simply is. The Simplicity sling bag has been with us since July and has long since become more than just a single piece – it was the beginning of an attitude that is now growing further. Because the Simplicity line is welcoming new additions: at the end of August, a backpack and a shopper will join the family as two new companions, made for days that need no staging.
